Lovely Collection You Got There, Valentino!

Good day! I am writing this post as I am suffering from a bad case of the flu and basically trying not to die... umm, back to the actual topic: Valentino´s new SS13 collection!

First off, I must say I am in love with the new pieces, which I believe are so very chic and timeless in every way. In my opinion women of all ages can pull off wearing these and look absolutely stunning! 

I am very fond of the colour selection too,

ruby, navy, white, light pink... they all create a pleasant vibe.

Yes, the divine elegance of the 50s is transmitted very well, although I did find the range of hairstyles  quite boring, regarding the fact that they all pretty much looked the same. 

I strongly believe that the look of the model (in this case her hair) contributes a great deal to the appeal of the garment, nevertheless, good job Valentino!

Why You Should Never Insult Audrey Hepburn In My Presence

                                                            

Have you ever just cried because you adored someone so                

much? No? Well I certainly know I have!

The girl I am talking about is Audrey Hepburn, whom I have adored for such a long time now.

Everything about her is perfection, and when I say everything, I mean EVERYTHING.

Besides her outstanding qualities as an actress, her breathtaking beauty and her ability to stay slim without having to starve herself (HOW UNFAIR!), she was also a genuinely nice person!

She was the kind of girl that would do anything for her loved ones, and whose modesty made her stand out even more. Moreover, she had spent the last few years of her life traveling around the globe as a UNICEF goodwill ambassador helping children in need before she developed cancer and passed away shortly after.

That is why I think you should never, ever insult Audrey, even as a joke, for she deserves nothing but respect and honor....  

Because if anyone in this world deserves to be looked up to, it´s her!
